Our Habits, Our Brothers, Our Sisters

Regarding the previous post, I have received comments supporting the small effort to uphold the dignity of Muslims. However, someone ANONYMOUS dropped by and made few statements:

Here I wish to reply:

Dear oppositions of my thoughts,

You claim that this is a free world, with no limitation of trade nor thinking.

I practice your believe, where I speak out what I think is right and hold on to my belief.

If you think that boycott is just nothing and you still can make trillions of dollars (note that this currency is no longer strong, where people has started to look into dinar instead of virtual-base dollar),
you do not need us THE MUSLIMS to be buy your products, use your service, neither work for you.
Sacrifices for the sake of ISLAM would always be granted, paid with the better one.
If you think you are strong enough to even SURVIVE in your field without muslims,

WHAT BOTHERS YOU?
WHAT BOTHERS YOU?
WHAT BOTHERS YOU?

WHAT BOTHERS YOU?
WHAT BOTHERS YOU?
WHAT BOTHERS YOU?

WHAT BOTHERS YOU?
WHAT BOTHERS YOU?
WHAT BOTHERS YOU?

anonymous kinda has a point (even though i disagree on the way he/she proposed his opinion)~

the problem is...is it justifiable, your proposal~?? you should do more research on the mechanism, be more convincing on your opinions and prove why do you believe in it...a typical malay thinking; "org suroh boikot, baru kecoh2 nk boikot"...we should erase the typical-malay stereotype, and think! pahat, penukul...xde penukul, xley nk pahat. we should be able to take action on our behalves instead of being told to...we should be able to think for ourselves, without prior decisions made by others for us.

yeah, the zionist state may suffer lost...but is it enough? the zionists are getting an average of 3, 000, 000, 000 dollars from the united states for millitary enhancements. i may not be informed, still it's not that i don't boycott at all...at least i'm doing something, but you seem quite convinced on the points you mentioned...just would really appreciate it if you were to elaborate more on those points...because i still believe that boycotting is just not enough~ the regime is still attacking gaza aren't they..? i just wish i could do something that can actually make a huge difference, and boycotting is just not working fast enough...and the palestinians definitely can't wait any longer~

be strong muslims, take drastic actions even though it might not favor us but at least VISIBLE RESULTS can be seen...for the better...a sacrifice, pengorbanan...and i doubt that people who are too sucked into worldy pleasure are up for the challenge. all i'm praying for is for the muslims to change...insya'allah~

Are you an Israeli, anonymous?
If you are, then I understand.
For you will always be bias towards your countrymen (if you are an Israeli).

You are very rhetoric (and I'm not sorry for saying this). By your 'BEAUTIFUL' language, I doubt that you are a person who has the power to advocate harmony when you yourself is trying to provoke the so-called harmony.

Is it harmony when Israel invades Gaza for political reasons? (Israeli elections coming this February)
Is it harmony when Israel rejects Hamas's proposal to extend the ceasefire just before the invasion starts?
Is it harmony when terrorism breeds so fresh within Israel?

Israel may be economically powerful in the world, but does that make them invincible? I don't think so. Even the army with its Corner Shot technology were humiliated in Lebanon in 2006.

Amin Jamil said...

Malik,

I'm glad you keep thinking of the ummah problems. The Gaza invasion brings awareness to more muslims about this ummah issue.

you are partially right. the boycott will not bring big impact to these countries if the support is small.
Lemme ask you - are you willing to drink your brothers' blood? Are you willing to eat you sisters' flesh?

to eat and to drink their products make me feel like that. the money i pay for the food and drink is used to kill my brothers and sisters. I don't boycott because of the campaign. i have my own reason. still, it's up to everyone to choose their lifestyle. after all, its all your choice ;)

..................................

Dear Anonymous,

Do you know how 'happy' I am to have you? your intention to 'help' us makes me feel 'glad'

Like how IMF gives offers to trouble countries, like how US gives help to Philipines and Indonesia, it's all the same tectiques - to show that you guys are all angel to control and manipulate us.

Nice knowing you, 'annoy'.

...................................

Lot Yusoff,

Keep away your anger and emotions while handling this type of people. Somehow they can use our emotions to drag us apart, until the extend where we do not aware that we are far dragged from the true path.

Handle these people with mind. We are the one who control the situation, not them.

...................................

Dear Syafiq,

No matter who this guy is, whats important is we do out part and we know his intention.

i'd say thanx to anonymous cuz if it is not for him, I wouldn't know there's still lots of Muslims youngsters, hopefully who still have sensitivity regarding Islam.
well, Anon did bring out something good in each of u.

regarding boycott, i would love to share wif any of u who are reading this about the story of a bird who tried its best when Prophet Ibrahim was set on fire.

he filled his tiny beak with water and other birds were laughing at him [cuz itis almost impossible to put off the fire with so little water]

so he replied that he was afraid if he wont be able to answer if Allah asks him on the Day on what has he done to help His Prophet.

Allah never ask for the success rate of your effort, its the effort itself that will be rewarded and questioned.

AMINN..do u really know what ur talking about..
firstly bout the boikot thing..why u only focus on food product..why u dont boikot other product..such as microsoft..malaysia airline and air asia because they using BOING plane..imagine if we fully boikot the US and the israel product we will back to stone age..we cant go to haji and living in comfort life..we even cant watch good movie and block bluster..do u know there some company owns by malaysianz.example the kentucy owns by US..but when they came to malaysia the johor copert(tan sri ali hashim) bought them.(http://www.jcorp.com.my/).if u boikot the product the malaysian will get the extra pain..coke in malaysia owns by f@n(http://www.fn.com.my/food.aspx0.)and same goes to other product..beside they also provide many job to malaysia..and help malaysia ekonomi to grow.IS A WIN WIN SITUATION.imagine they close down..malaysian will lose job..what will happen..people wil give up in life and mogok..this is resipe to disaster..

SEconly u said bout dinar emas..u need to know one thing..is not that easy to fullfill this big dream..tell me what do u know actually bout dinar emas?back to history theres one piagam that said all the country in the world need to use dollar as exchange rate..DO u think is easy to change the system..hell no..lets say if we really want to change the system the islamic country really need to have strong ekonomi..TOO BAD the islamic country still VERY VERY weak in ekonomi..i mean very very..if you check the gdp(gross domestic product)of ALL islamic country(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Organisation_of_the_Islamic_Conference_member_states_countries_by_GDP_per_capita_(PPP)
is equal to one europe country or 1/3 of china gdp..look ALL 57 islamic country gdp is equal to one europe country or 1/3 of china gdp..tell me how bad is that..people all over the world know that oic is like people without teeth..OIC have no power and very weak.OIC is really a joke to people..if the ekonomi is very weak we cant do anything..beside do u know most islamic country is among the poorest country in the world..if u think malaysia is good then ur wrong..malaysia still in 3rd world country..although people thought we in 2 world country ..thats reality..
Malaysia still a very small country..our ekonomi still counting on US..if the US down we will too..our R and D still very low..
if we want to do something we must improve our ekonomi(gdp) orelse we will still doom.GOD WILL NEVER HELP THEM UNLESS THEM DO SOMETHING WITH THEMSELF.we need to face the music now..the brutal factz..
lastly plz THINK before u said something..refer to fact..go to knogras ekonomi islam or something..there will be held WIFworld islamic kongras in indonesia this march plz go and learn something.ur still lost and misunderstanding..i have no intention to showoff or what but my mum is pakar ekonomi..always tell me what going on..thats why i know what is happening..

this might sound harsh yet so true.

it is so pathetic knowing that there's muslim still worrying bout not being able to watch good movies @ blockbusters while there's people out there who DONT EVEN HAVE A PROPER PLACE TO STAY IN and losing their beloved ones because of the war. and some ignorant and also heartless so-called-muslim still worries about not being able to enjoy comfort life.-i've seen their sufferings, and i have nothing i can complain of as compared to what they are facing right now-

shame on you.

when we start the boycott campaign it doesnt necessarily means you have to throw away all your good nokia phones, your designer clothes and everything. what done is done, the point is to stop funding the massacre. throwing away or stop using those products [you already possesed] to some extend doesn't help much.

Malaysian need not suffer from this boycotting, in fact it should be a great opportunity for Malaysian to start their own alternative. but what's the surprise, our people look up too much to America. complaining we CANT but actually, people like you that causes our society to not have the ability to move one step forward.

plus, this is not just about economy. this is about your faith and how much you feel for ur muslim brothers. and how much you believe in the day of resurrection. I guess some are just too proud that they will have appropriate answer once Allah asked, what had you try to do when your brothers in Palestine is being killed and tortured.

if you can't feel all those things, at least take it as a matter of common sense,
to kill or not to kill.

HAQEMI said...

one_munawwarah i dont want to start a war that u cant win with u or argue but i want to correct some of ur misunderstanding..

firstly u said Malaysian need not suffer from this boycotting, in fact it should be a great opportunity for Malaysian to start their own alternative. but what's the surprise, our people look up too much to America. complaining we CANT but actually, people like you that causes our society to not have the ability to move one step forward.

ok..u said malaysian need not suffer with this boikot..well ur wrong then..of course we will suffer..if u boikot then this so called amerika and israel product that been run by our own malaysian will close down cause they dont make profit..then how bout the malaysian that run the company?lose job..lost..no where to go.imagine ur parent lose their job..u cant eat.nowhere to go or even donate to the palastin..PLUZ our contry will lose million of ringgit because they dont want to invest at malaysia anymore..end up malaysia will be doom..

NEXT you said fact it should be a great opportunity for Malaysian to start their own alternative...COME onlah..do u know that if u buy proton car it will also help the US..thats because proton share with LOTUS to create a car..that mean if u but a national car it will also help the us to kill the palastine...here the web http://paultan.org/archives/2006/04/26/proton-and-lotus-plan-new-low-end-lotus/..then about meat..most of malaysia meat is import from australia and india..we dont have enough meat supply..coz the goverment dont want to bigger the industries maybe coz of expensive...yet this again help the US kill the palastine because the australia is a US gud fren..australia help US..what am trying to say is the
own alternative u said is a bullshit..the us and sekutu control our market..from tesco..giant.coputer ..air plane.even our national car..our org melayu hanya jual keropak..grg pisang and small restoren..u wanna noe why this is happening..most of CLEver malay wanna have a good job..well this need to change the cLEVER malayz actually need to provide job be a buisness man.our prophet said that 9/10 rezeki come from buisness.well for other malay work as goverment servent have a low income..coz thats what happening now..most malay work with goverment and stuck with their life and have a small income..

then u said our people look up too much to America..seriously we need to look up to them and learn from them.LIKE JAPAN THEY LEARN FROM THE GREAT.not bodoh sombong..come onlah dont lie to urself.u need to admit it there ar great.they are have among the best universiti in the world.our SULTAN perak(ketua agama islam) also went to harvard to learn from them..so do other clever malay in malaysia..they wanna go oversea and learn from the best to be great..

lastly the key to victory is to unite..maybe this is balasan from ALlah ..our aGama islam is not unite anymore..the syiah and the sunnih is figthing each other..in malaysia the tabligh is fighting with org masjid..so on the wahabi..we cant do much if the ummah still not unite and give stupid idea..and bodoh sombong..tell me how to step forward if the basic pun tak kuat?dont be like menang sorak tapi kampung tergadai..face the true..

Anonymous said...

thankfully some of your points are finally making sense.

but again, it is a matter of faith. why worry so much about losing job. Job is a part of "rezeki" given by Allah, He will definitely arrange something for those who truthfully sacrifices for Islam. Of course it is the other way around for those who lose their job and curse other people for boycotting.

the problem is, we dont even wanna try. cuz when I SAY IT IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY, YOU CALL IT BULLSHIT. I hope more malaysian will stop listening to crappy things people like u say. cuz all you can do is bring your fellows down instead of giving them support. when other people dream, u say it is bullshit. i believe you are the kind of people who will only live with the blessing from big power like America.btw, when i say look up too much, i mean we depend too much on them.my bad.

I am a dreamer, and I believe in my God. no matter how bad situation will be, i know God will help me and my believing Malaysian in a way or another. I know everything i have today is from God instead of worrying that malaysia will be doomed because of losing America's investment.

you should widen your perspective. if buying national car will help America, means national car is not an alternative to stop supporting America. then, we have to look for other alternatives for cars. And just because buying national car will also help the US doesnt mean MY ALTERNATIVE AND OPPORTUNITY IDEA is bullshit too.

orang melayu masih goreng keropok dan jual goreng pisang because when they started to dream big people like you come and say "come onlah.. u know that's never gonna happen" you're a one creature who are too afraid to get out of your comfort zone.

i just dont see what is your problem with boycotting and alternatives products? does it really bother you if one day my Malaysian can actually achieve something. When I dream and speak of this so-called STUPID IDEA, at least there is still possibilities that things might actually happen. but people like you rather choose, let more Palestinians get killed, and we live happily, depending on the US investment. i am sorry, i can afford to lose the great movies and food if that can save a life of my muslim brothers.

you believe that we will be able to solve this if muslim unite, yes that's true.but unite and do what?

what is happening in Palestine could also be balasan Allah terhadap umat Islam seluruh dunia yang asyik buat dosa. Kerana Allah tidak hanya menurunkan bala kepada mereka yang melakukan dosa sahaja. I pray that jangan sebab dosa kita, muslim lain yang ditimpa bala. you have your own stand and i believe this is the least i can do for them. you didn't get to see with your own eyes how these Palestinians are in need of help. i hope even if you cant boycott you can at least feel sorry for them and have this hatred feeling regarding what is happening to them.

i believe people like you can do many great things if you have a better perspective on this issue.. even if this is a war between you and me, you might call me a loser but i know a muslim is always a winner in a way or another. even if palestinian "lost" in their war, they are winner in the eyes of Allah.

i am an opportunist who dream and believe things could actually happen.dont try to play God, cuz things u knew is so far less compared to His knowledge. Even if we lose all the US investments, you still cannot say you are 100% sure malaysia will be doomed.

HAQEMI said...

u need to remember dream can come true but dream can be nightmare too..

i feel very sorry for the palastin but by boikot is not the ryte way.it will give u many bad effect than gud effect..i asked my mum what to do to help the palastin beside boikot..and the way is to take out all ur money at US and sekutu bank..thats much better..and support islamic banking..
but what happen now..people not supporting islamic banking that much..example in malaysia the takaful..not many people support takaful..ask ur parent how they bought car..home and so on..izzit using islamic banking?..well if ur parent using the normal banking system(not islamic banking) then ur parent has build a bridge to hell..coz the normal bank system is ribe..i been studying this issue for some time already ..i would like to share with u some of the gud web bout this issue http://hazariba.com/WhyRiba.shtml..and http://www.islamicperspectives.com/Riba1.htm..we as muslim people must aware of this issue..maybe this is one of factor god give such bala..dont ever fight with the power of god.coz HE is the almIGHty..bout the malay part..i think u noe.whats happening lately..hows malay now dayz(majoriti)..the rempit.lelaki melayu in universiti..kampung baru and so on..i dont really want to talk bout it..i hope u already read dilema melayu from mahathir..

honestly, the idea of withdrawing all our money from the US and its allies banks is brilliant and i never heard of that before. and i think you should start widespread them if u believe thats going to work.

regarding the riba issues, i think not so many people know about this and i just would like to add a few more things to what u've said. PTPTN is also considered to be riba [ cuz u have to pay more for your loan ].but for people who really cant do anything bout that, u should repay your loan with a feeling that you hate that it is riba, and hope Allah forgives.

And i believe most of this blog's readers are sholars. If your allowance were deposited in such banks, it is recommended that you transfer all your money to trusted [really practicing islamic banking system].

and none of the benefits u got from ur saving should be use. give them to baitul mal, but you have to state that the money is riba2. cuz we have different way to manage money which is haram.

i guess we have our own believe and perception. i just dont want my money to be used to kill the palestinians cuz i am certain i wont have the courage to answer that in front of God later on. even if it is not for palestinian, one should be able to re-consider that before they spend their money.

For me, personally, it doesn't matter what race do we belong to (referring to dilema melayu by mahathir). It's a matter of being Malaysian. Put aside race politics and move forward as Malaysians.

Gov't policies have forced us to look at race. Whether we are categorised as Malay, Chinese, or Indian. If we go studying overseas, we would address ourselves as Malaysians, not malay, not chinese, not indian, not any other race. But in our own country, we were forced by the policies to mirror ourselves as either malay, chinese, indian or any other race.

That is why so many of our Malaysian geniuses left the country and decided to live in another country so that they can address themselves as Malaysian. Not malay, not chinese, not indian.

That's my POV about race politics.

Ahmad Syafiq said...

One day, we will see the fall of the capitalist system. There are too many flaws within the system and that alone can be the ultimate downfall. Since US and Hong Kong are examples of a highly capitalist system, those two economies might be in disaster if they can't get through this recession safely.

WATCH the DOMINO EFFECT if the US bailout plan fails. That's why we need to plan economics based on Islam. For example, Islamic banking. As we have seen time and time again, Islam is the way of life. Economically, socially, equality and justice.

regarding about the race issue..you said Gov't policies have forced us to look at race..well goverment have a strong reason bout this policies..IT meanS our country have history...How the PERLEMBAGGAN was made?.How we got merdeka?.How the chinese and indian became malaysian?..thats how we have hak istimewa org melayu.u CANT Put HistoRY asside and move forward..
well mahathir said in one of his speech bout this issue is that malaysia is like CAKE..we need to share it with everbody(malay,cina,indian,others).. it doesnot mean the slice of the cake is equal to everybody..but one thing for sure is we need share the cake...

bout student that stay at oversea maybe is because of the high pay sallary..even many malay decide to stay oversea..

dear HAQEMI,
i appreciate that you spend your time reading and explaining in this corner. i am impressed with knowledge you have, despite your broken syntax and grammar (at least i know that you are typical malaysian who thinks doing mistake is cool) ;)

HAQEMI,
please spread your words, your ideology and your ambitions to more people. SO that there would be more Malaysians have no hope to move on and totally depending on what has been provided. So that there would be more people have no confidence to stand on their feet. So that there would be more Muslims take for granted about their religion and hold on to 'duniawi'.

I hope there is American and Jewish would read this blog. To be more specific, I hope there would be the enemy of Muslims reading what had been written by you. They must be so happy to have a Muslim like you (I assume that you are also a Muslim. Pardon me if I am wrong).

HAQEMI,
I hope your knowledge will not be taken back by Allah for your arrogance.

Salam perkenalan, HAQEMI =)

mr perfect..well for me doing mistake is cool because i consider it as LEARNING..i have to admit my grammer is not that good..and am learning to improve it.. Actually what am trying to say is ur idea of boikot..is not a good plan at all..you are so narrow minded..you dont think of other people life..the bad effect of ur boikot idea..although there are still good effect(i think) but the bad effect will be more than good..and i suggest to use a different way..is to take out all of our money from the us bank..this will give bigger effect to them(us)..and innocent life will not be effect.. You said my ambition and idea will make malaysian not to step forward..well the reason why i comment ur blog is to make malaysian aware of what is happening now and to wake them out from sweet dream..am not proud of the us..am just thank them of their technology that help people all around the world to live with comfort(including help the muslim to perform haji easier with airplane technology)..we need to learn the goods(technology) from them..just dont follow their bad behavior..bak kata org melayu yang baik dijadikan teladan yang buruk dijadikan sempadan..well this is why the japan become a great country now.they realize their weekness and learn from a great country at that moment.. Not bodoh sombong.. U need to remember as a muslim we need to balance duniawi and akhirat..if we dont balance it we will still in the club of doom.. many of the so called islamic countries that have become living hells..the everyday existence of a vast majority of muslims around the world today is hell on earth..not enough food to eat.unhygienic.violence.poverty.hatred.limited economic opportunities and other such horrible truths are the fate of the islamic countries..this is because of the imbalance between akhirat and duniawi..both are equal important..

One,
Thanx for the series.

-------------------------------------

Haqemi,
Sorry if what i've said before made you feel uncomfortable.
I admit my fault.
I guess there is misunderstanding here.
I am not in front line of boycotting. I am not part of any boycotting organization.
What I mean in my writing was we should do what we can to help our brothers and sisters.
I do aware that the contribution is small, and these big companies probably will not be affected by the boycott.
It is the matter of we helping them, lessen the burden on their shoulder.
Now the phosphorus bomb issue occurs.
Are we still have no conscience for them? Shame on me if I do not have at least sympathy for them.

Your idea is actually quite good. If it brings benefits to all, then i support you, Haqemi. =)
